I recently joined a swap bot fiber swap. The idea was to send fiber and funky chunky stuff to include in your yarns as you spin them. Those artsy yarns look like so much fun to spin and knit with and I have been wanting to give them a try but didn't know where to start. So I thought this would give me a little push in the right direction. On Monday, I received my package from Susan and my partner Yarn Wench got her package today so I thought it was safe to post some pics.
I found these fun fly guys and turned them into charms and then stitch markers with glow in the dark beads. I though they turned out really cool.
Here is the swap that I sent received. It had a ton of different types of wool and yarn snippets. I think my favorite snippets were feathers that are beaded with seed beads. I also got some fun candy and a trick or treat bag. Thanks Susan!!
