What a mother's day!

Well I had a very eventful mother's day. I started off the morning with pancakes loaded with whipped cream and several different syrups in the shapes of hearts from hubby and the kids. I know aaaah! lol

From there it was off to church and then to lunch with hubby's parents. Then came the most exciting and ridiculous part of the day. H. had a soccer game today at 2:00. Yes, on Mother's day in the middle of the day he had a soccer game. I couldn't believe it, but wait it gets better. His coach really tried to make it up to all of us mothers by bringing carnations for all of the boys to give to their mother which was really sweet of him. But then about halfway through the game it started raining and I mean raining! Like buckets of near freezing water being tossed onto us. In fact, at some points there was actually hail. Much to the dismay of the players and especially H. we decided to call the game and go somewhere warm to regroup. But not before we got probably one of the best and most hilarious mother's day photos I have gotten in years.

The kids and I wrapped up the evening out at mom's house for the last episode of Survivor and some mighty fine Tony Boom Bozz pizza. MMMMM! I think after each season of survivor I become more and disgusted with who ends up with the million. I would love for there to be some way for backstabbing to be punishable. I think I have thought of a decent solution... I think people on the jury should be able to abstain from voting if they do not think that either of the final two deserve to win. And then if the majority of people abstain the million would go the third person to the end. What do you think?
